Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an accountable Project Engineer to lead all electrical engineering disciplines for complex control panel projects.

The role involves scheduling, planning, and coordinating technical activities from conception to completion to ensure accuracy and quality. You will design electrical/control systems, select components, create BOMs, prototype and test, and drive compliance with NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE standards.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree or 10+ years' experience.
  • 3+ years in electrical equipment manufacturing.
  • 3+ years in electrical engineering principles, circuits, and systems.
  • 3+ years in NEC, UL, IEC, and IEEE standards.
  • 3+ years in AutoCAD, EPLAN, electrical design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration.
  • Resident of greater Brookfield area.
  • Ability to pass background checks and physical requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Design electrical/control systems schematics and layouts.
  • Select components and generate BOM for projects.
  • Prototype, test, and validate electrical designs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project activities.
  • Ensure compliance with NEC/UL/IEC/IEEE standards.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Identify improvements for efficiency and cost.
  • Monitor project progress and budget.
  • Provide ongoing technical support after delivery.
