Weston & Sampson is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join a growing team in Worcester, MA. Build foundational skills or bring experience to contribute to diverse projects for educational, commercial, federal, and municipal clients.

You will design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and emergency power systems; develop drawings, reports, and field investigations; and work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• 0–8 years in engineering consulting or electrical design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit.
• Knowledge of electrical building systems and NEC.
• Familiarity with building codes and design manuals.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for new construction and renovations across varied facilities.
• Prepare construction documents and drawings; review shop drawings and reports.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil and other engineers.
• Collaborate with clients, subconsultants and vendors for project delivery.
• Develop safe, reliable, and practical electrical solutions.
• Take ownership and grow technical and leadership skills.
