Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. You will design electrical systems for a variety of buildings, develop construction documents, and work closely with clients and subconsultants to deliver reliable, code-compliant solutions.

Ideal candidates bring a degree in engineering, up to 8 years of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, travel to project sites as needed, and

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 0–8 years of experience in engineering design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit or similar design software.
• Knowledge of electrical building systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power) and NEC requirements.
• Familiarity with building codes and design manuals.
• Demonstrated electrical design experience and ability to provide practical solutions.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical engineering solutions for new construction and renovations across sectors.
• Develop construction documents and drawings, conduct field investigations and review shop drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil, and other teams to deliver integrated building systems.
• Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, and vendors to support project delivery.
• Apply technical knowledge to solve real-world challenges and ensure safe, reliable systems.
• Take ownership and grow professionally by collaborating with senior engineers.
