Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing Electrical Engineering team in Massachusetts. You will work on diverse projects across educational, commercial, federal and municipal clients, designing power distribution, lighting, fire alarm and emergency power systems.

You’ll collaborate with engineers across disciplines, work directly with clients and project partners, and assume increasing responsibility as your experience grows.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• 0–8 years of experience in an engineering consulting or electrical design environment.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit or familiarity with similar design software.
• Knowledge of electrical building systems and NEC requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical engineering projects for new construction and renovations across education, commercial, municipal and utility facilities.
• Develop construction documents, shop drawings, technical reports, and participate in project meetings.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, civil, and other engineers to create integrated building system solutions.
• Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, equipment vendors and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Apply technical knowledge and creative problem-solving to develop safe, reliable electrical systems.
• Take ownership, grow, and develop leadership skills while working with experienced team members.
