Job summary

Weston & Sampson is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in New Hampshire. You’ll contribute from design through construction documentation and collaborate with clients and cross-disciplinary teams on buildings and infrastructure projects.

Ideal candidates bring 0–8 years of experience in electrical design, familiarity with NEC, and proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with a strong ability to communicate and coordinate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
• 0–8 years in engineering consulting or related electrical design environment.
• Experience with electrical building systems and NEC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical engineering for new construction and renovation projects across various facilities.
• Develop construction documents and contract drawings; conduct field investigations and review shop drawings.
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, civil, and other engineers to develop integrated building system solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, subconsultants, equipment vendors and stakeholders to support project delivery.
• Apply technical knowledge and creative problem-solving to develop safe, reliable electrical systems.
• Work independently while growing leadership skills and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
