Job summary

Commercial Comm and Electric in the Phoenix area seeks a Project Engineer to support projects from initiation through completion. You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents, maintaining scopes, schedules, and resources while mitigating risks and reporting progress.

The role emphasizes procurement, field coordination, and documentation control to ensure contract compliance and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of industry experience as project coordinator or related electrical trade.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Bluebeam software.
• Strong communication, organizational, verbal and written skills.
• Ability to develop schedules, manage resources, and track progress.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Project Manager and Superintendent to support project success and safety.
• Assist with cost management, forecasting, and contract changes.
• Procure materials, equipment, submittals, and monitor compliance with project requirements.
• Contribute to project scheduling, progress reporting, and throughput improvement.
• Assist in resolving commercial matters with owners, subcontractors, and suppliers; price owner change orders.
• Maintain current project documents (drawings, specs, RFIs, submittals).
• Support permit applications and renewals as required; participate in meetings.
• Generate weekly production and monthly progress reports for leadership review.
