Job summary

Kratos Industries, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to manage the technical execution of engineered-to-order electrical equipment projects from intake to closeout. You will interpret customer requirements, coordinate submittals, and ensure deliverables align with project requirements.

The role serves as a primary interface among customers, engineers, utilities, sales, and other stakeholders, coordinating design input and changes across electrical and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related tech.
• 3+ years of project engineering or technical project execution in an ETO environment.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, BOMs and mechanical drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Own intake and scope definition with sales to align requirements.
• Coordinate customer submittals, prepare input packages and approvals.
• Develop engineering input packages for electrical and mechanical teams.
• Coordinate and evaluate substitutions, deviations, and supplier options.
• Maintain milestones, open items, and documentation in ERP.
• Coordinate closeout documents, as-builts, BOMs and records.
• Support continuous-improvement initiatives.
