Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions in New York is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of electrical systems associated with gas turbine engines. This includes implementing design drawings, circuit designs, and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate must have a BS/MS in Electrical Engineering and over 5 years of relevant experience in system design and development. The position offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in electronics and electrical system design and development in gas turbomachinery or related industry.
• Experience in developing test cases and test procedures.
• Familiar with energy storage and electric motor control.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyze, and test electrical systems for gas turbine engines.
• Create and maintain design drawings of electrical interconnect systems.
• Support engine/vehicle integration operations and testing.
