Job summary

Canyon State Electric Co. in Arizona seeks a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support electrical construction projects.

This role bridges the Project Management and Field Operations teams, ensuring information flows accurately from design through completion. You will manage project documentation, RFIs and submittals, BIM coordination, and daily site support, with opportunity to grow into greater project leadership.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in electrical construction or related project coordination.
• Familiarity with electrical systems and project documentation processes.
• Proficiency with Bluebeam, Procore, BIM software, and MS Office.
• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget.
• Maintain records: RFI logs, submittals, panel schedules, inspection docs, commissioning reports.
• Conduct daily site walks to monitor progress and identify issues.
• Coordinate with foremen, field staff, and subcontractors for seamless coordination.
• Track BIM implementation and verify alignment with project requirements.
• Document design revisions and field adjustments to support change management.
• Assist in developing and updating project schedules aligned with milestones and manpower.
• Communicate with vendors on submittal progress and material delivery.
• Participate in meetings and distribute progress reports to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to QC standards, documentation protocols, and safety policies.
