Jobot is seeking a Project Engineer (Construction/Electrical) in Southern California with 3+ years of experience to support planning, coordination, and execution of diverse construction projects. You will collaborate with field teams, clients, and stakeholders to keep projects organized, financially controlled, and progressing toward successful completion.

You’ll interpret drawings and specifications, manage documentation, and help ensure schedules and costs stay on track.

Formación

• At least 3 years of experience in a construction contractor environment.
• Electrical project experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to interpret plans, drawings, specs, and related construction documents.
• Strong working proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience performing quantity take-offs and producing accurate work under tight timelines.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize deadlines and manage time.
• Proactive approach to professional development and learning.
• Ability to successfully complete required background screening and drug testing.

Responsabilidades

• Support projects from initial mobilization through closeout, including project setup and day-to-day administrative coordination.
• Maintain productive communication with clients and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project activities with emphasis on cost control, quality, and standards.
• Develop pricing for scope changes, including change-order estimates and take-off work.
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier buyout activities and cost evaluation.
• Assemble, maintain, and track project documentation, submittals, and materials for review/approval.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and other documents.
• Provide general project support to ensure schedules, costs, and deliverables stay on track.
• Contribute to projects across multiple sectors (commercial, industrial, civil, aviation, municipal, transportation).
