Job summary

Titan Electric in Charlotte, NC seeks an Assistant Project Manager to join our PROJECT MANAGEMENT team. This full-time role supports planning, coordination, and execution of electrical construction projects, assisting Project Managers, Superintendents, and vendors to deliver on time and within budget.

You will help with schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, and meetings, while maintaining safety and quality standards across projects; occasional field support and progression toward PM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, project coordination, or a related role.
• Electrical construction experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common construction management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with day-to-day project planning, coordination, and documentation.
• Support project setup activities, including schedules, budgets, contracts, and documentation.
• Track and maintain project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and drawings.
• Assist with cost tracking, job cost reports, and budget updates.
• Support procurement activities including material ordering, vendor coordination, and delivery tracking.
• Coordinate with field leadership to support manpower planning and schedule adherence.
• Participate in project meetings and assist with meeting minutes and follow-up items.
• Support communication between project teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Assist with change management processes, including pricing support and documentation.
• Monitor project progress and assist with schedule updates and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, Company policies, and safety standards.
