Job summary

Norlee Group, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Assistant Project Manager to support our Augusta-based team.

This full-time role focuses on coordinating electrical construction activities, tracking schedules and budgets, and ensuring safety and quality on local job sites. You will work closely with the Project Manager, field crews, and vendors to review drawings, prepare submittals, and maintain thorough project documentation.

Qualifications

• 3-7 years of low-voltage or electrical construction experience preferred.
• Experience in coordination, lead, or supervisory roles is a plus.
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems and construction workflows.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency in MS Office; project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager with overall project lifecycle from pre-construction to closeout.
• Coordinate schedules, materials, equipment, and manpower for field operations.
• Review drawings, specs, and contracts to ensure requirements are met.
• Prepare submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
• Track costs, budgets, and forecasts; identify risks or overruns.
• Communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Support project meetings and provide progress updates.
• Assist with inspections, testing, and closeout documentation.
• Maintain organized project files and records.
