Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Project Coordinator to support construction project execution in Santa Teresa, NM. You will assist project managers with planning, cost tracking, subcontractor coordination, and quality control to meet client and project objectives.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of electrical or general construction coordination experience, familiarity with estimating tools (Bluebeam, Accubid), and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred; high school diploma required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in electrical or general construction project coordination or management.
• Journeyman Electrician's License is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy with project management and estimating tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in planning, financial tracking, subcontractor management, and QC efforts.
• Coordinate scopes of work with drawings, specifications, and objectives.
• Prepare submittals and review pay applications, change requests, and financial docs.
• Support subcontractor bidding, evaluations, and award recommendations.
• Assist in contract administration and ensuring compliance with terms.
• Oversee time tracking, reporting, and adherence to policy; facilitate project meetings.
• Maintain vendor contacts, material specs, and regulatory requirements.
