Job summary

Enterprise Electrical seeks an Assistant Project Manager to support electrical construction projects. You will assist in planning, coordination, and daily project management, working with PMs, field leadership, vendors, and internal teams to keep projects on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety standards.

The role involves documentation, procurement support, and effective communication across all project phases, with travel between sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Understanding of electrical construction methods and workflows
• Ability to read blueprints, specs, and construction docs
• Strong organizational and time management with multiple priorities
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Attention to detail and problem solving
• Experience with construction/project management software

Responsibilities

• Assist the PM in day-to-day project operations and administrative tasks
• Support the preparation, review, and tracking of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project logs
• Help organize weekly project schedules, manpower plans, material deliveries, and long‑lead tracking
• Attend project meetings and prepare notes or action items
• Maintain accurate project documentation and distribute updates to stakeholders
• Conduct site walks with PM or Superintendent to observe progress and verify installation
• Assist with documenting field conditions, tracking completion, and reporting delays
• Coordinate with field leadership to align on goals, safety standards, and execution plans
• Monitor labor hours, equipment usage, and material costs
• Review POs, delivery tickets, and subcontractor invoices for accuracy
• Prepare weekly project summaries and cost-to-complete updates for leadership
• Support communication between clients, GC, engineers, and EE teams
