Job summary

Turner Construction Company’s SourceBlue division seeks an experienced supply chain leader to manage vendor relationships and drive global procurement strategies for major construction projects. You will oversee supplier performance, negotiate terms, and coordinate cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

The role requires deep industry knowledge, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years in manufacturing or construction or equivalent
• Knowledge of construction/material markets and industry trends
• Electrical, Mechanical, or Finished Products knowledge
• Strong vendor relationships and ability to secure partnerships
• Ability to manage high volumes of work and complex projects
• Regular domestic and local travel with possible international travel

Responsibilities

• Apply purchasing, product, technical and supply chain expertise to SB project teams and clients
• Review market dynamics; collaborate with vendors to address issues and align with stakeholders
• Conduct quarterly business reviews and vendor evaluations for ESG initiatives
• Manage demand and capacity planning across supply chain programs
• Identify and qualify vendors across global, national, regional, and local levels
• Negotiate terms, create and manage contracts, onboarding and vendor governance
• Provide recommendations for strategic supply chain awards and final product selection
• Develop KPIs for manufacturers and publish lessons learned for future developments
• Act as primary contact to manage supply chain issues and escalate to SB leadership
• Coordinate vendor pricing, bids, and scope of work; confirm contract terms on projects
• Schedule and coordinate factory testing; participate in industry events to understand market dynamics
• Lead hiring, performance feedback and training for team members
