Job summary

Verrus is seeking an experienced Pre-Construction Manager to lead budgeting, estimating and pre-construction activities for complex electrical projects in North Texas. You will collaborate with clients, design teams and project leadership to shape execution strategies across mission critical, industrial, healthcare and commercial sectors.

The role emphasizes design reviews, cost-saving opportunities, and proactive pursuit of new business while leveraging BIM and estimating software to deliver

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating, pre-construction or related disciplines.
• Experience supporting large-scale commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing or mission critical construction projects.
• Strong budgeting, conceptual estimating and cost planning skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with BIM or construction coordination tools is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop project budgets, cost plans and pricing strategies during pre-construction.
• Prepare estimates for projects at various stages of design and development.
• Participate in design reviews and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Review subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Support proposal development, client presentations and project pursuits.
• Monitor market conditions and construction cost trends.
• Collaborate with project teams to develop execution and delivery strategies.
• Build relationships with clients, consultants and industry partners.
• Assist with identifying and securing future business opportunities.
