Job summary

Schneider Electric is hiring an Engineer II, Electrical for Mt Juliet, TN. The role focuses on designing electrical distribution systems for 2.4-38 kV equipment, including protective relays, PLC controls, and power monitoring using CAD tools.

The engineer will support customers and collaborate with sales, quotation, and project teams, interfacing with factory functions to deliver optimal customer experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Translate customer requirements into electrical designs and deliverables: one-lines, three-lines, control schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs.
• Read and interpret drawings/specifications for medium voltage equipment.
• Hybrid office/manufacturing environment familiarity and adaptability.
• Proficiency in engineering tools: SEE XP, AutoCAD, Symmetry, LDS, ODM+.
• Strong time management to address eAndons from manufacturing.
• Able to communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
• U.S. citizenship or right to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generate and ensure technical quality of deliverables (drawings, BOMs, services).
• Ensure compliance with project objectives.
• Continuously improve design activity in knowledge, efficiency, processes, quality, and service level.
• Collaborate with other engineering and quality teams to maintain design intent and safety.
