Job summary

Schneider Electric North America Operations Power Systems Division in Mount Juliet, TN is hiring an Electrical Engineer to design and support medium voltage power distribution systems, including protective relays, PLC controls, and power monitoring.

You will generate drawings, BOMs, and schematics, ensure design compliance with ANSI/IEEE and UL standards, and collaborate with manufacturing, sales, and project teams to deliver quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering is required.
• US citizen or eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Ability to succeed in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to learn medium voltage switchgear and power system protection & design.

Responsibilities

• Generate and ensure technical quality of deliverables (drawings, bills of material, services).
• Ensure compliance with the project's objectives.
• Pursue continuous improvement of design activities in knowledge, efficiency, processes, quality and service level.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Technical Antenna teams to ensure design intent and safety requirements are maintained.
