Job summary

Pro2Serve, an Equal Opportunity Employer, seeks an Electrical Engineer III/IV for a direct hire in Knoxville, TN. The role involves high-level engineering duties, leading smaller projects, and coordinating with clients and internal teams to meet design objectives.

DOE/ISMS/OSHA knowledge and PE is preferred. The candidate will work under supervision on power distribution, grounding, and lighting design, with opportunities to supervise engineers and drafters and to manage budgets and schedules

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering.
• 15 years' experience as Electrical Engineer.
• Knowledge of DOE Orders, DOE ISMS and OSHA regulations.
• Professional Engineering (PE) certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare power distribution, grounding, lighting, and other design drawings.
• Prepare calculations to substantiate design decisions and provide a basis for design.
• Prepare equipment specifications to control design and procurement activities.
• Review others' work and respond to reviews; maintain auditable customer correspondence and design decisions.
• Lead client meetings to establish project objectives and resolve design problems.
• Direct work of engineers, architects, designers and drafters.
