Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Power Engineer in the United States (Missouri, St. Louis) to join our power generation team.

You will design and analyze power systems for utility-scale projects, mentor junior engineers, and help win work with strong client relationships. Ideal candidates will have PE licensing, power sector project experience, and proficiency with industry tools (ETAP, SKM, AutoCAD, Revit).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license recognized by the licensing board.
Experience in project execution within the Power Market Sector.
Proficiency with Power Market Sector design software (e.g., PLS CAD, AutoCAD, Plant 3D, AutoPipe, Revit).
Active participation in our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple design and engineering projects in power generation.
Support power generation design including distribution and balance of plant.
Mentor engineers and develop client relationships; participate in business development activities.
Contribute to proposals, fee builds, and project planning.
Coordinate with disciplines and conduct site reviews with the Project Manager.
Perform QA/QC on engineering work and assist with contract administration as needed.
