Clayton Services is seeking a Senior Electrical Project Manager in the Houston area to lead electrical power distribution initiatives from planning through commissioning. You will manage budgets, schedules, vendor coordination, and field personnel while ensuring technical specs, safety, and client expectations are met.

The role requires strong leadership, deep understanding of electrical systems, and hands-on project management experience across industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical distribution projects from planning through closeout.
• Strong knowledge of electrical equipment and field commissioning.
• Experience with procurement, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, and vendor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical power distribution projects from planning to closeout.
• Develop schedules, budgets, forecasts, and resource plans.
• Review diagrams, specifications, and vendor submittals.
• Coordinate engineers, vendors, subcontractors, and field staff.
• Manage procurement, delivery, installation, and startup activities.
• Monitor costs and timelines; resolve risks and delays.
• Conduct site visits; ensure safety and quality compliance.
• Provide technical support on equipment installation and testing.
• Maintain communication with customers on status and deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Track documents, change orders, and financial reporting.
