Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical and low-voltage construction projects from inception through completion in the DFW area.

You will own project finances, develop schedules, manage budgets and coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver on time and within margin. A strong background in construction accounting and cost control is essential.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of electrical project management experience.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial and/or healthcare construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction schedules, contract documents and project coordination.
• Working knowledge of federal, state and local regulations.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management preferred; master’s degree a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead each project from kickoff through closeout.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, forecasts and progress reports.
• Coordinate material takeoffs and ensure field drawings are up to date.
• Oversee procurement with subcontractors and equipment suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with codes, permits, RFIs and change orders.
• Lead internal and external project meetings and manage closeout deliverables.
