Job summary

EC Electric is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple commercial electrical construction projects from planning through execution. You will ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery while cultivating client relationships and pursuing future opportunities.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience, strong financial acumen, and expertise with Viewpoint or similar CM software. A Bachelor's in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Engineering, Business Management, or related field.
• 5+ years PM experience in commercial electrical construction with multiple concurrent projects and $3.5M-$5M+ annual portfolios.
• Strong financial and contract management, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, change orders, claims resolution, cost control.
• Experience collaborating with GC's, subcontractors, vendors, and owners to build long-term relationships.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling and project controls, including resource-loaded schedules and look-ahead planning.
• Estimating and procurement experience including turnover processes and purchasing materials.
• Leadership and mentoring of Assistant PMs and field staff; driving accountability.
• Commitment to safety and quality, OSHA knowledge and injury-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all business aspects of multiple concurrent projects and meet financial targets.
• Complete Pre-Job tasks and contract content reviews.
• Develop and communicate project execution plans to necessary parties.
• Oversee contract management, documentation, and change orders.
• Coordinate with Estimating to review bids, RECAPS and turnovers.
• Mentor assistant PMs and project staff on their teams.
• Maintain customer relationships and ensure quality of service.
• Allocate resources and manage schedules and budgets for assigned projects.
