Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Electrical PM/Estimator to join a well-established local electrical contractor in Cincinnati. The role combines estimating responsibilities with active project management across commercial and industrial projects.

Ideal candidates will read and interpret electrical drawings and specs, develop estimates, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and clients to ensure on-time, profitable project completion.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical construction experience.
• Experience in both electrical estimating and project management.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and estimates.

Responsibilities

• Estimate local commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, and bid documents.
• Complete material and labor takeoffs.
• Develop project estimates and competitive bids.
• Manage awarded projects from contract through completion.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and profitability.
• Manage change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with General Contractors, customers, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Work closely with Superintendents and Foremen in the field.
• Assist with project turnover and ensure successful project execution.
