Job summary

Gpac in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Estimator to join a fast-growing team. You will manage electrical projects end-to-end, oversee budgets, and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate has electrical PM and estimating experience, familiarity with Accubid is a plus, and strong communication and organizational skills. This full-time on-site role offers challenging projects across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical project management and estimating experience.
• Electrical TQ is an asset.
• Valid FSR.
• Experience with Accubid software (Accubid Pro, Change Order) is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with different stakeholders.
• Good computer skills including MS Office.
• Currently working in the area with an established local network as an asset.

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users.
• Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions.
• Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labor.
• Estimate project costs, and changes, and submit tenders.
• Work with the Service Manager, Coordinators, and Service Electricians to develop service work and project scheduling.
• Review reports - labor status reports, job status reports, etc.
• Arrange for project manuals/Power quality reports to be completed.
