Job summary

GPAC is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager/Estimator to join a fast-growing team in the Washington/Vancouver area. The role focuses on managing electrical project scope, cost controls, scheduling, and tender submissions to secure electrical contracts.

Responsibilities include maintaining relationships with suppliers and clients, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with service managers and electricians to develop project schedules.

Qualifications

• Must have electrical project management and estimating experience
• Electrical TQ is an asset
• Experience with Accubid Pro/Change Order is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally with different stakeholders
• Good computer skills including MS Office
• Currently working in the area with an established local network as an asset

Responsibilities

• Maintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors, and end users
• Review contracts for onerous clauses and conditions
• Manage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labor
• Estimate project costs, and changes, and submit tenders
• Work with the Service Manager, Coordinators, and Service Electricians to develop service work and project scheduling
• Review reports - labor status reports, job status reports, etc.
• Arrange for project manuals/Power quality reports to be completed
