Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator for a respected commercial electrical contractor in the Pacific Northwest. The role spans preconstruction through project closeout, driving bid strategy and ensuring successful execution on multiple projects.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate with teams, and monitor costs, schedules, and profitability. A strong background in plans, specs, and bid documents is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating experience.
• Commercial electrical construction experience.
• Experience estimating and managing projects valued between $1M-$10M.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates and competitive bid proposals.
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis.
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the bidding process.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, labor utilization, and procurement.
• Forecast costs and project profitability.
• Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships.

About the Opportunity:

A respected and growing commercial electrical contractor with a strong reputation for quality workmanship, long-term employee retention, and exceptional customer service throughout the Pacific Northwest isseeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager / Estimator to help drive business growth while leading projects from preconstruction through completion. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in both winning work and ensuring successful project execution.

What You'll Do:

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates and competitive bid proposals
• Review plans, specifications, and bid documents
• Perform quantity takeoffs and pricing analysis
• Identify project risks and opportunities during the bidding process
• Participate in bid reviews and project handoffs
• Manage commercial electrical projects from award through closeout
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and field teams
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, labor utilization, and procurement
• Forecast costs and project profitability
• Lead project meetings and maintain client relationships
• Resolve project challenges proactively to keep projects on track
• Conduct local project site visits as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Electrical Project Management and/or Estimating experience
• Commercial electrical construction experience
• Proven experience estimating and managing projects valued between $1M-$10M
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction methods, and project execution
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong customer-facing and relationship-building skills
