Job summary

D&H Distributing in Whiteland, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for an onsite role with a 3:00pm–11:30pm shift. You will inspect, monitor, and repair warehousing equipment, read schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and handle complex repairs to ensure safety, quality, and uptime.

The role requires 4+ years in maintenance within distribution/manufacturing, strong problem solving, and the ability to work independently, including after-hours or overtime when needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required with 4+ years in facility, distribution, or manufacturing maintenance.
• Strong problem solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Experience with PLCs, electrical and mechanical repairs, and preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems from 24V to 460V AC (3-Phase).
• Perform scheduled and emergency mechanical/electrical repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Mentor other technicians and read schematics/blueprints for system operations.
• Maintain inventory of parts and document downtime and repairs.
