Job summary

Lighthouse Electric is seeking a Planning/Layout/Design Specialist to plan, layout, design, and coordinate on complex electrical construction projects. You will work with designers, owners, and subcontractors to ensure accurate layouts and efficient pre-fabrication.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction documents, and 3D model input, with a focus on quality and schedule adherence. Collaboration with field teams and ongoing process improvements are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years field construction experience or a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Proficient reading and understanding of construction documents and 2D plans.
• Ability to provide input to 3D models and coordinate with design and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular contact with project personnel and key stakeholders.
• Assists in layout, design, and pre-fabrication on projects.
• Educates field personnel on layout/design processes and standards.
• Creates detailed layout drawings adhering to company standards.
• Supports preconstruction and construction teams with electrical systems matters.
