Job summary

Lighthouse Electric is seeking a Project Engineer in Columbus, OH to support the Assistant PM and PM with administrative tasks, document control, and BIM-related activities throughout the project lifecycle.

You will help coordinate change orders, procurement, scheduling, and field communications while reviewing plans and ensuring compliance with safety and NEC/low voltage requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business Administration or 5+ years field experience.
• Experience with project documentation and blueprints.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements on electrical projects and NEC/low voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager with administrative tasks and document control.
• Review blueprints, shop drawings, and project specs.
• Coordinate with BIM process from estimate to field execution.
• Support procurement, scheduling, and change order processes.
• Prepare and distribute meeting minutes; communicate goals to field leadership.
