Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience managing patent prosecution docket and ownership of applications.
• Law firm or in-house IP experience highly valued.
• Strong writing, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft and globally prosecute patent applications.
• Coordinate with foreign law firms for filing and deadlines.
• Communicate with clients on processing and document legalization.
• Ensure compliance with Foreign Filing License requirements.
• Prepare notices to clients about upcoming deadlines.
• Coordinate filings, deadlines and billing with foreign firms.
• Anticipate client needs and delegate to paralegals as needed.
• Meet annual billable hour target (1650 hours).
• Support supervision and collaboration with partners and staff.
