Job summary

GROB Systems, Inc in Bluffton, OH is seeking an electrician to assemble electrical panels for proprietary systems. You will interpret engineering drawings to assemble and wire panels, mount A/C and chiller units, and build modular panels for our production lines.

The role requires strong math skills, ability to work alone or with a team, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Overtime and passport readiness are expected; a High School Diploma or technical certification is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; associate degree or trade cert preferred.
• Previous electrician work in a manufacturing setting.
• Able to read drawings and schematics; troubleshoot.
• Experience using the metric system.

This position is responsible for directly interpreting information delivered by Electrical, Fluid, and Mechanical Engineering to successfully assemble the electrical panels for GROB proprietary systems.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Complete electrical panel assembly and wiring of components
• Mounting A/C units and chiller units
• Assembling modular electrical panels
• Assembling wiring and tagging of operator panels, junction boxes, and servo panels

Education & Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma minimum; Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification in Electrical Technologies or similar programs preferred
• Previous electrician work in a manufacturing setting
• Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
• Experience using the metric system
