Electrical Technician

The main purpose of the Electrical Technician is to implement all electrical components and materials into the mechanical design of GROB custom machines. The role requires interpreting information from Electrical, Fluid, and Mechanical Engineering to successfully assemble the electrical systems for GROB proprietary systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement all electrical components and materials into mechanical design of GROB custom machines.
- Interpret information from Electrical, Fluid, and Mechanical Engineering to assemble electrical systems.
- Install electrical system components and cabling.
- Assemble and install high‑ and low‑voltage systems.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Journeyman Electrician license preferred.
- Previous electrician work in a manufacturing setting.
- Understanding of drawings, schematics, and troubleshooting.
- Experience using the metric system.
General Requirements
- Self‑motivated.
- Ability to work alone and in a team environment.
- Excellent math skills.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.
