Job summary

GROB-WERKE GmbH & Co. KG in Kentucky seeks an electrical assembly technician to directly interpret information from engineering teams and assemble electrical panels for proprietary systems.

The role involves completing panel assembly, wiring, and mounting air conditioning and chiller units on modular panels. Candidate should have a high school diploma with electrical training or certification and experience in industrial settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree or trade certification in electrical technologies preferred.
• Experience as an electrician in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics; strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally; ability to obtain a passport.

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical panel assembly and wiring of components.

Job description

This position is responsible for directly interpreting information delivered by Electrical, Fluid, and Mechanical Engineering to successfully assemble the electrical panels for GROB proprietary systems.

• Complete electrical panel assembly and wiring of components
• Mounting A/C units and chiller units
• Assembling modular electrical panels
• Assembling wiring and tagging of operator panels, junction boxes, and servo panels

Education & Experience Requirements:

• High School Diploma minimum; Associate’s Degree or Trade School Certification in Electrical Technologies or similar programs preferred
• Previous electrician work in a manufacturing setting
• Understanding of drawings, schematics and troubleshooting
• Experience using the metric system

General Requirements:

• Self-motivated
• Ability to work alone and in a team environment
• Willing to work overtime as needed
• Willing to travel domestic and international
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
