Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is seeking a Production Technician in the United States. The role pays $21 per hour and offers a variable incentive program. Hours are 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime and career progression.

The Production Technician will assemble components and sub-assemblies for electrical control equipment, inspect products for quality, and prepare items for shipment. Benefits and 5S improvements are emphasized.

Qualifications

Must have 1 year in an assembly role or completed 1-year technical school; use of hand/power tools.
No relocation; within 50 miles of work location; US work authorization.
Eaton does not sponsor CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or visa transfers.

Responsibilities

Assemble panelboards/switchboards per drawings and instructions using hand/power tools.
Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality vs. specs and codes.
Wire electrical assemblies using wire strippers and pliers.
Maintain progress and communicate shortages or issues.
Prepare finished products for shipment and support Lean/5S housekeeping.
