Job summary

nVent is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead journeymen and apprentices in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems for modular buildings. The role is based at our Oregon, WI facility, with responsibilities spanning planning, safety, and quality control.

You will oversee coordination with cross-functional teams, ensure compliance with the National Electrical Code, and drive production efficiency while maintaining a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in installation and maintenance of electrical wiring and equipment.
• 5+ years of leadership experience preferred.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license with NEC knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong analytical ability to identify and resolve problems.
• Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities and delegate.

Responsibilities

• Plan wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers and panels.
• Inspect wiring and fixtures for conformance to codes and company specs.
• Study production schedules and estimate worker hours required for completion of assignments.
• Enforce safety regulations and interpret company policies to workers.
• Coordinate with departments and set up machines and equipment.
• Perform quality control testing and document results and corrections.
• Provide guidance to workers and motivate teams to achieve goals.
• Maintain time and production records and inspect materials.
