Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; five years related experience and/or training in electrical wiring and equipment installation.
• Be familiar with and possess a working knowledge of the National Electric Code.

Responsibilities

• Plans wiring and installation of equipment and fixtures such as switches, circuit breakers, and panel boards.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.
• Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
• Instructs or trains crew members in installation policies and standards.
