Sierra Air Inc. is seeking an Electrical Manager to lead the electrical department, drive growth, and ensure code-compliant service and installations. A strong background in residential electrical systems, leadership experience, and NEC knowledge are essential.

The role oversees operations, budgeting, staffing, and customer satisfaction, with opportunities to expand the department and improve profitability while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential electrical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities.
• Proven success leading and developing electrical teams.
• Strong working knowledge of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, and NEC.
• Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred or as required).
• Experience managing budgets, profitability, KPIs, and operations.
• Leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and develop a high-performing team of electricians and apprentices.
• Establish culture of safety, accountability, professionalism, and customer service.
• Oversee daily electrical operations: service, repair, and installation projects.
• Ensure compliance with NEC and local codes.
• Conduct field inspections and QA reviews.
• Provide technical guidance for complex diagnostics and installations.
• Partner with leadership on budgets, staffing, and growth strategies.
• Monitor KPIs, labor productivity, revenue, and margins.
• Optimize scheduling and resource allocation for efficiency.
• Coordinate with sales, dispatch, and customer service for seamless operations.
• Support estimating, job scoping, and proposals for large projects.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve profitability.
• Ensure compliance with policies and safety regulations.
