Job summary

Johnson Matthey Plc is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance technician for a 2nd shift (3 PM–11:30 PM) in West Chester, PA. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and upgrading plant electrical systems, wiring, and control panels.

You will read wiring diagrams, set up equipment, and ensure safe operation with proper isolation and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities include dismantling and rebuilding electrical assemblies, working with motor controls and PLC logic relays,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of programmable controllers and PLC logic relays.
• Trained in proper management of hazardous wastes.
• Adheres to safety precautions and isolation of circuits.

Responsibilities

• Inspects plant equipment for defects and plans repairs to minimize production interruption.
• Dismantles, repairs, installs and tests electrical equipment including motors, panels, and conduits.
• Reads wiring diagrams and plans work, selects materials and tools for repairs.
• Keeps safety measures and isolation of circuits to minimize interference to operations.
