Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an entry-level Maintenance Technician in Tipp City, OH. The role supports Level II/III technicians in installing, repairing, or modifying electrical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

You will follow safety rules and assist with wiring, transformers, and control systems. The position emphasizes basic maintenance work, blueprint reading, and adherence to preventive maintenance programs.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or recognized equivalent.
• Minimum of two years related working experience in a maintenance mechanic function, or equivalent related experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Frequently exposed to work near moving mechanical parts.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with electrical equipment installations and repairs as needed.
• Follow all safety rules and precautions in a manufacturing environment.
• Work with blueprints, layouts, verbal instructions and other specifications.
• Use welding equipment for layout and fitting, including making jigs and fixtures.
• Diagnose and correct electrical system or equipment issues using standard wiring calculations.
• Perform visual and mechanical inspections to ensure machinery is in good condition.
• Contribute to preventive maintenance program and notify management for major repairs.
• Assist with maintaining buildings and minor repairs as required.
