Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on plant machinery during a rotating morning shift (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM). The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and proactive problem solving to meet production goals.

You will troubleshoot, calibrate, install and overhaul equipment, document reports, and collaborate with the maintenance team. A high school diploma and 2–5 years in industrial electronics are required, with a 2-year technical degree

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred.
• Strong electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
• Perform trouble shooting and calibration.
• Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
• Rebuild equipment components.
• Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment.
• Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
• Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.
