Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to install and repair electrical systems on industrial machinery. This night-shift role involves diagnosing, calibrating, and replacing components, with extensive use of meters and radiation monitors where applicable.

Requirements include 2–5 years of electronic maintenance experience in manufacturing or military environments and an AA degree or equivalent, or five years of related experience.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of electronic maintenance experience in manufacturing or military environments.
• Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent, or five years of related experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Maintains industrial particle accelerators and power supplies; calibrates instrumentation.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, high voltage power supplies, and replaces damaged components.
• Tests malfunctioning equipment and coordinates with internal/external maintenance resources to diagnose issues.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machines such as capacitors, resistors, relays, switches and motors.
• Extensive use of electronic meters and radiation detection monitors; works with high voltage equipment and vacuum systems.
