Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a skilled maintenance technician for the Liquibox unit in Minnesota. The role covers mechanical/electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration, and equipment installation on a rotating morning shift with a $0.50 shift premium and a $30.00 hourly pay rate.

You will work with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems, PLCs, and Maximo; 2–5 years’ industrial electronics experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field.
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred.
• Strong electrical background.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical and electrical systems to meet safety, quality, and production goals with minimal supervision.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate equipment.
• Overhaul and inspect equipment regularly.
• Install new equipment and modify existing lines.
• Rebuild equipment components.
• Perform standard maintenance on facilities and grounds.
• Report findings in written and verbal formats.
• Support other maintenance team members to achieve plant goals.

Job Description

Shift: Morning - 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM Rotating Shift Schedule

Shift Premium Amount: $0.50

Pay Rate: $30.00

Liquibox, under the Sealed Air organization

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance to meet safety, housekeeping, quality, cost and production requirements with minimal supervision.
• Perform trouble shooting and calibration.
• Perform overhauls and preventative maintenance inspections on machinery and equipment.
• Install new equipment and make modifications to existing equipment.
• Rebuild equipment components.
• Perform standard maintenance tasks to maintain facilities and grounds.
• Accept personal responsibility for condition of assigned equipment.
• Prepare written and verbal reports/recommendations.
• Assist other maintenance team members as required in support of plant goals.

Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2 year technical degree preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in Industrial Electronics or related field
• Experience with electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic control systems.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers preferred
• Strong electrical background

• Experience using a computer (Maximo, MS Office).
• Ability to drive a forklift and scissor lift preferred

Physical Requirements

• Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
• Able to frequently lift up to 40lbs

• Able to frequently ascend/descend a ladders/stairs as required to repair equipment
