Job summary

Sealed Air Corporation is seeking a Night Shift Maintenance Technician to install, repair, and maintain complex machinery and facilities. You will support plant goals for safety, quality, and productivity and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, equipment upgrades, and documenting work in the CMMS. The role requires proficiency with electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, and controls, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• General maintenance background with electrical emphasis.
• Experience troubleshooting industrial control systems.
• Proficiency with AC/DC motors and drives.
• Familiar with motor starters, encoders, tachometers.
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and ladder logic.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial controls.
• Able to work overtime, weekends, and off-shift.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
• Assist in specifying and installing new equipment.
• Document repairs, preventive maintenance, parts requests, and project work in CMMS and shift reports.
• Develop and implement improvements to safety, quality, and productivity.
• Follow Safety, Food Safety and Quality guidelines daily.
