Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in general maintenance repair work that includes electrical and mechanical.
• Basic reading of English and metric measurements required.
• Competent technical aptitude with dexterity and coordination.
• Emergency call-out availability evenings/weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Dismantles machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
• Reassembles machines after repair or maintenance per manufacturer requirements.
• Performs diagnostic tests, identifies causes of failures, and documents results.
• Starts machines, observes operation, and ensures efficiency; reports issues to supervisor.
