Progress Rail in Sherman, TX seeks a Production - Hourly Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, PLC, and CNC systems on cranes and mobile equipment. The role includes preventive maintenance, accurate work orders, and helping operators reduce downtime.

Required: high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in a plant maintenance environment; welding is a plus. An Associate degree in a mechanical/electrical field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 5+ years in a plant maintenance environment preferred.
• Associates degree in mechanical or electrical field or equivalent vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair high voltage electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and complex hydraulic systems, PLCs, CNC controls, cranes, and mobile equipment.
• Electrical and mechanical maintenance of PLC & CNC controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
• Fill out work orders completely.
• Assist operators in preventing equipment downtime.
