Job summary

TAS Energy Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to install and maintain production machines and the facility’s mechanical and electrical systems in our Houston, TX operation. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and reporting on work orders.

The role requires the ability to work with limited supervision, read blueprints, and operate a variety of tools and equipment. Minimum two years of experience in maintenance is expected.

Qualifications

• Must have good command of English, both written and verbal.
• Able to work up to 12 hours a day when required.
• Electrical troubleshooting and Mechanical experience required.
• Two years of Maintenance Mechanic experience.
• Lock-out Tag-out; HAZMAT; Forklift Safety.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities electrical equipment.
• Diagnose problems, replace defective control modules and test adjustments.
• Perform preventive maintenance on air compressors, lighting systems, cranes, welding machines and fabrication equipment.
• Read electrical schematics, read blueprints and use hand and power tools.
• Prepare and submit maintenance reports using CMMS software.
