Job summary

Amcor Limited seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on production and support equipment at our facility with emphasis on electrical/electronic technologies. Safety and integrity drive all work, under general supervision on complex projects.

You will provide 24/7 technical production support, lead equipment upgrades, and maintain a tidy, compliant workplace while collaborating with cross-functional teams to minimize

Qualifications

• Four years minimum work experience in industrial maintenance including troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with blown film manufacturing and converting equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to read and interpret procedure manuals, specification sheets and other product documentation; English literacy required.
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects; willingness to work overtime and rotate on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, repairs, and corrects mechanical, electrical, and process problems to ensure production capability.
• Provides 24/7 technical support for production.
• Leads assembly, installation, disassembly, and demolition of production equipment and building support equipment as required for upgrades or new installations.
• Maintains a neat and orderly work area and adheres to housekeeping standards.
• Identifies and coordinates with contractors for maintenance or project work.
• Maintains building and grounds.
• Participates in teams addressing quality, safety, or production issues.
• May provide support for printer maintenance and service.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
