Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an Electrical-Mechanical Designer for on-site work in Bloomfield, CT. The role focuses on modeling and drawing generation for mechanical hardware used in elevator systems, utilizing Creo Cable and E3 Zuken WD, with strong cross-functional communication.

The position requires proficiency in 3D modeling, GD&T, tolerancing, and component to system level drawings, with the ability to work independently and deliver to schedule. W2 consultants receive comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Creo 10 or higher.
• Pro Cable proficiency.
• NotePad programming experience.
• Component, assembly, subsystem, and system modeling.
• Use of advanced mathematics techniques for part fitment and design feasibility.
• Experience defining welding, GD&T, tolerancing, material specifications, and finishes within drawings and models.
• Parametric design and programming.
• Collaboration with engineers and internal customers.
• E3 Zuken wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide design support to internal and external customers.
• Modify and develop new component solutions to increase product robustness.
• Support resolution of engineering issues.
• Develop component and system level models and drawings.
• Support cost reduction efforts.
• Support FTB reduction.
• Support engineers with 3D studies and prototyping.
• Support engineering CN process.
• Support system level model updates.
