Job summary

Vaspire Technologies Inc. in Bloomfield, CT seeks an experienced CAD Engineer to create and modify elevator drawings, develop complex CAD models, and manage BOMs.

You will serve as the technical expert for Creo and Windchill, ensuring GD&T accuracy and strict configuration control across engineering documentation. The role requires hands-on sheet metal and wire harness experience, plus a degree in Engineering or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent training preferred

Responsibilities

• Create preliminary and final elevator drawings.
• Good hands-on experience with sheetmetal, wire harness etc.
• Configure bills of materials for elevator units.
• Modify drawings and/or bills of materials for preapproved, non-standard requests
• Lead the development, modification, and maintenance of complex CAD models, assemblies, drawings, and engineering documentation
• Serve as the technical expert for Creo, Windchill
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and configuration control
